1688 Murray Ave.
Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh

Every Nation on the planet, except the US, has recognized the dire threat of climate change and is committed to carbon reductions. Currently, the state of Pennsylvania has fully embraced frack gas which is just as big a threat to our climate as coal. We must redirect their attention to advance clean energy and clean energy jobs. Working together, we can change our future for our children and their children.”— Larry Schweiger

Join us for a stimulating lecture and conversation with Larry Schweiger, a leading voice in the environmental movement nationally and in Pennsylvania. Larry will address the changes sweeping our region, which include fracking, pipelines, the petrochemical plant under development in Beaver County, and the other proposed plants down the Ohio River, and what they mean for us and our children.

Schweiger is currently the Chapter Co-Chair of the Climate Reality Project and has recently retired as President and CEO of PennFuture. He has also been President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
