Now that marriage equality is a reality, what’s next for Presbyterian congregations committed to the full inclusion of LGBTQA children of God? Alex Patchin McNeill, Executive Director of More Light Presbyterians, will serve as guest preacher at Sixth’s worship service on Sunday, October 4th, and hold an informal discussion with us in the chapel that evening (7 PM to 8:30 PM).
Alex is the first openly transgender person to head a mainline Protestant organization. He will share his story, help us network with other like-minded Presbyterians in Pittsburgh, and help us begin to set a course for the joyful work ahead. All are welcome!
