Save the Date! Come to the Stewardship Sunday Breakfast and Service November 1
Every year the members and friends of Sixth Church affirm our wonderful faith community by joining together to pledge our time, talents, and money for the coming year on Stewardship Sunday. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, November 1, which also happens to be All Saints Day.
The event will begin at 10 am with a breakfast at church to which all are invited. Sunday School will not be held that morning so that we can all have breakfast together. The breakfast will be followed by the worship service at the usual 11 am time. And you won’t even have to miss a minute of the Steelers game!
The theme of the Stewardship Service will be that “we are all saints”, and will highlight five past and present saints of Sixth Church. We hope that their stories will inspire you to make a generous pledge to support Sixth Church in the coming year!
As we get closer to Stewardship Sunday, you’ll learn more about the event and about exciting plans for Sixth Church in the coming year. Prior to Stewardship Sunday you will also hear from two church members about what Sixth Church means to them and the importance of giving.
We love our Church and look forward to sharing our love with you in the coming weeks!
Your friends of the Stewardship Committee:
Peter Kaplan, Lauren Ward, Mary Crossley, Millie Barnes, Judy Schryer, Peter Watt-Morse, and Erik Fogt
