Jesus did not exactly have a great relationship with his biological family, but the Gospel tradition presents him as being reconciled to his mother by the time of his death. We are always dealing with our parents, even if they are long gone or live far away. How are you doing with your sources?

I Samuel 15:34-16:13 “God’s Choice”
On Pride March Sunday, we will consider what it means to be God’s choice. We will recall the story of David, a person who was “after God’s heart,” and how it took a long time before David’s “choseness” bore fruit in his life.

In a culture where “rugged individualism” does not satisfy our hunger for community, we will explore how the sacred community called the church can make us be at home.

Ephesians 2:11-22 “Coming Home”
What does it mean to be home? We will explore how in Christ, home is no longer where you are from, but where you are going.
