Sunday Schedule

Worship begins at 9:30 am for summer, beginning June 7, both in-person and livestreaming

Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available during Sunday school and worship service.

Extended Session for children in preschool through third grade is held upstairs during worship following the Time for Children.

Coffee Hour in the chapel every Sunday after worship.

Some committees and outside groups are meeting in the building while others remain virtual. Please check the calendar or with the activity / meeting leader to verify where and how you will be gathering.

Masks are welcome in the building.

Mission: We are an open and affirming community of faith in Jesus Christ. At home in an urban neighborhood of many faiths, we acknowledge that we are not alone on the path to understanding God. In worship, study, and fellowship, we celebrate our Presbyterian roots and find joy in our diversity. We strive for the grace to love one another as we seek deeper understanding of life in the Spirit, working for justice and serving as stewards of God's wondrous creation.

Sixth Presbyterian Church advocates for equal rights and equal rites for all God’s children. Since 1997, Sixth has actively supported the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people into the whole life and ministry of the church, which means it unites us in marriage, platforms us into positions of congregational leadership, affirms us from the pulpit, amplifies our voices in Christian worship, and marches alongside us in the streets. Sixth doesn’t just tolerate or welcome us, it IS us.
