Due to a change in where items can be recycled, the church will no longer be collecting most items. Exceptions can be made if you have difficulty doing it yourself. If assistance is required, please contact Pam Howe.
See below for outside resources and the items they accept. Also, check out RecycleThisPGH.com. This site is a wealth of information on where to recycle various items.

Pennsylvania Resource Council:
Did you know that there are many options in and around the city to recycle products which are generally not recyclable by local municipalities during curbside pickup? For instance, check out PRC.org to turn in household hazardous waste in almost monthly events throughout the area.
HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL COLLECTIONS (Pennsylvania Resources Council)
Individuals can drop off automotive fluids, household cleaners, pesticides, paints and other household chemicals for a cost of $3/gallon (a few exceptions apply), cash only. New in 2018: Collections will accept smoke detectors for a fee of $3/each.
HARD-TO-RECYCLE COLLECTIONS (Pennsylvania Resources Council)
Individuals can drop off “e-waste” such as computers, cell phones, printer/toner cartridges, CFLs and expandable polystyrene packaging material at no cost.
For a fee, individuals can drop off alkaline batteries, televisions, computer monitors, fluorescent tubes, small Freon appliances and tires.
TerraCycle:
For items that were collected by Terra Cycle, please check Terra Cycle website. A box will have to be purchased. If there is enough interest, a group of people may purchase one box together.
We will not be doing a general collection at the church.
